“Meri Ziev's voice and presence are needed in this world!”
— Peisha McPhee, International singer and vocal coach for American Idol and Ali’i Cravalho, the voice of Disney’s “Moana”.
Meri Ziev (she, her), Vocalist
Ocean Ridge, FL (Palm Beach County)
Meri Ziev’s love of art and music began as a child in Pearl River, N.Y. Her father was an artist and the first in the neighborhood to have an 8-track player in his Buick Riviera. Meri began singing in the car to Barbra Streisand & Frank Sinatra music, listening to the Big Bands on the radio, and enjoying show tunes on the living room console. Her love of classic rock springs from going to her brother's rock band rehearsals! She was a flute-playing "band nerd" in middle school and high school. Her most recent loves are jazz jams & piano lessons.
After garnering multiple Broadway World Cabaret Award nominations, she was featured in this BWW article (Thank you, Stephen Mosher!):
“Meri Ziev has a great voice, filled with emotion!”
— Dick Robinson, Founder of Legends Radio, The Connecticut School of Broadcasting, and The Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook
Recording information: Music director, arranger & piano accompaniment by Phil Hinton, Tom Lippincot on guitar (featured on Besame Mucho), Ranses Colon on bass, & Frank Derrick on percussion. Recordings were engineered by Robert Norris at Saturn Sound Studios, West Palm Beach, FL
Many thanks to Dick Robinson for the impetus to record, and to my sponsor, Arthur Ziev!
